In the growing process, the natural growth

  1. in the deep interior of the earth (HPHT) or
  2. in interstellar gas clouds (CVD)

is mimicked or imitated. The crystallization of the carbon takes place over months, depending on the size.

Subsequently, the grown rough diamond is cut, polished and cut by a diamond cutter.
